On March 11th, the opening ceremony of the first stage of the 2023 China Football Association Youth Football Championship (Women’s U10 Group in Key Cities) was held at the National Football Training Base. Liu Jun, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Beijing Football Association, and Wang Xiaogang, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing Football Association attended the opening ceremony. More than 180 athletes and team officials from eight teams from Qingdao, Beijing, Xi ‘an and Wuhan, the first district of key cities, participated in the competition.
Liu Jun, executive vice president and secretary general of Beijing Football Association, and Wei Yanyi, the representative of athletes, jointly announced the opening of the competition.
Pang Jingxi, No.4 of Beijing U10 Red Team, was awarded the best player in the match between Beijing Red Team and Beijing Yellow Team.
The 2023 China Football Association Youth Football Championship (key city group) is guided by the State Sports General Administration and sponsored by the Chinese Football Association. It aims to implement the spirit of the "Overall Plan for Football Reform and Development in China" and the "Guiding Opinions of the General Administration of Sports on the Construction of Key Cities for National Football Development", and build a professional football competitive platform with serving the growth of players as the core and combining the relevant requirements of key cities to pay attention to youth training development and cultivate high-level reserve talents. Select young football talents, focus on cultivating and improving the competitive level, promote the construction of youth training and competition system in key cities, and promote the healthy and vigorous development of youth football.
The participating teams are all from 15 key football development cities in China approved by the State Sports General Administration during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. There are 12 competition groups for men and women of U10-U15 age group. The U10 women’s competition in Beijing Division was hosted by Beijing Sports Bureau, and implemented by Beijing Football Association and Beijing Yiyang Genggeng Sports Culture Co., Ltd., with high standards and strict requirements in terms of competition organization, event reception, activity safety, business arrangement, news and publicity, etc., striving to create an excellent stadium environment for the young players and build a bridge of friendship for football exchange and development among key cities.
